Hey y’all! How is ya???
So we just got back from tour and I guess there is no rest for the wicked. We’re heading into the studio this week to finish up 3 songs for a seven inch being put out by some very cool people we will announce in the weeks to come. We had a fucking blast on tour and this band couldn’t be in better spirits. Huge thanks and love go out to The Bouncing Souls, Youth Brigade and Off With Their Heads for being some of the greatest dudes we’ve had the pleasure of touring with. Like “The Pete” said… what a perfect tour of bands who sound different but are all coming from the same place. It was a pleasure every night and we made some friends we won’t soon forget.
We’re getting ourselves collected for our upcoming European tour and I personally am ecstatic. I know this will be a modest tour for us but I’m looking forward to the adventure. Europe is old hat for a few of the members in the band but not me. I’ve never been, so I’ll get out the polaroids, sun visor and short shorts because I’m touristing this bitch.
When we get home we will be having another ‘Burly Calling’ party around the Holidays and we hope to see everyone out. Doing a few things different this year so stay tuned. We also have some big stuff planned in the new year, possibly recording down south, new record coming and a lot of fun tours, videos and celebrity sex tapes to dish out.

Ben’s blogging his way across Canada on the Bouncing Souls tour for Exclaim Magazine. Here’s just a sample of what it’s going to be like…
“One night in Montreal after the Warped Tour last summer I had befriended Brian and Pete from the Bouncing Souls. We were having a great night drinking and hanging out when we decided to head down town to Fouf Foune Electrique. Its a touristy punk bar who the locals have abandoned because they are often “Too Cool”. We get off the subway we took from the island and I’m pretty sure we were all stumbling drunk at this point. We walked past St. Denis street ( where crack and junkies are common) and I had to take a piss. I told the group I’d catch up and snuck behind a dumpster. Now, I had my back pack on and a Flatliners T Shirt that sports the classic Toronto Blue Jays logo on the front. Clearly I was not from the area. So I’m wobbling out a piss behind this dumpster when I feel something cold and metal touch the back of my head. Two french guys were yelling at me and I realized I was getting mugged. I’m not sure if the gun they had pointed to the back of my head was real but all I could think is that I’m going to die with my dick in my hand behind a dumpster while I was holding what I can only describe as a severe case of whiskey dick…”
